LightWave

Lightmobile the Volkswagen Beetle was covered by 1,659 computerised light programmed to flash and glow in a variety of sequences. BUBBLEHEADS, a bicycle built for 4 riders, each rider's head appearing to be a bubble of light (a sphere covered with 200 computerised lights).
THE HIVE at Grand Canal Square, Docklands there was a projection of light and sound. by entering into The Hive, you take control of one part of an interactive fantasia, driven by your movements and by the changing rhythms and timbres of the accompanying Philip Glass music. Drawing you in to explore the rich mix of sound and light, The Hive imagines a number of encounters with otherworldly life forms and environments. It was produced by Digital artists KMA (Kit Monkamn & Tim Wexler) develop installations and light sculptures that are rooted in the physics of nature and the mathematics of swarm behaviours, cellular automata and chaos.

Many kitchens in Belfast City are deficient in natural light due to the towering Peace Walls outside there back doors and having to convert to artificial natural lightening.
